United Gymnastics Academy

About us

United Gymnastics Academy is a premier gymnastics and T&T (trampoline and tumbling) academy founded by former world-class athletes Nadia and Alex Dramaretsky. Both founders hold bachelor’s degrees in sports coaching and bring decades of experience as professional athletes, educators, and coaches.

Nadia began her athletic career in artistic gymnastics before transitioning to trampoline. She was a member of the Russian National Trampoline Team for 12 years and earned numerous medals at World and European Championships. In 2015, she won a World Cup title and became a bronze medalist at the World Championships.

Nadia holds a bachelor’s degree in sports coaching. After retiring from competitive sports, she combined performing with Cirque du Soleil and coaching young athletes. Her passion for gymnastics and child development is at the heart of United Gymnastics Academy, where she inspires the next generation to develop confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of sports.

Alex was a member of the Russian National Tumbling Team and is a multiple-time Russian champion. He became a World Champion in 2007 and a European Champion in 2008. Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in sports coaching and has been coaching gymnastics and T&T since 2009. Throughout his career, he has trained dozens of athletes who became members of the Russian Junior National Team.

In addition to coaching, Alex served as Head of the Gymnastics and Trampoline Department at the Ministry of Culture and Sports in Russia. In 2020, he accepted a position as a head tumbling coach in Lafayette, Louisiana, and moved to the United States with his family.

Together, Nadia and Alex created United Gymnastics Academy to provide high-quality professional instruction in a positive, safe, and supportive environment. Their goal is to help every athlete—from beginners to competitive gymnasts—reach their full potential while building strength, confidence, discipline, and a genuine love for the sport.
