About us
United Gymnastics Academy is a new gymnastics and T&T(trampoline & tumbling) Academy.
The founders are Nadia and Alex Dramaretsky. Nadia started her career with gymnastics but soon switched from gymnastics to trampoline. Nadia was a member of the Russian national trampoline team for 12 years, she is a multiple winner of the world and European championships. In 2015, Nadia graduated from the university with a master’s degree in Pedagogical education. Also in 2015, she became the winner of the World Cup and the bronze medalist of the World Championship, and after that, she finished her sports career and began combining work at Cirque Du Soleil and coaching. Nadia’s passion for gymnastics is evident in the classes offered at the United Gymnastics Academy, she manages to convey her love for sports to the younger generation.
Alex was a member of the Russian national tumbling team. He is a multiple champion of Russia, a World Champion in 2007, and a European Champion in 2008. Alex has a higher pedagogical education and has been coaching gymnastics and T&T (trampoline and tumbling) since 2009 and has trained dozens of members of the junior Russian national team. In addition to coaching in Russia, Alex was the head of the Gymnastics and Trampoline Department of Russia at the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Russian Federation. In 2020 Alex got a job as a head tumbling coach in Lafayette, Louisiana, and moved there with the whole family.
Nadia and Alex raise 2 daughters, Milana 7 years old, and Mia 4 years old.
The girls also do gymnastics and are on competitive team at United Gymnastics Academy.
